Woman riding a scooter narrowly survives being run over by a truck in China
A female scooter driver narrowly escaped death after being run over by a truck in southern China.
The terrifying video, filmed in Zigong city in Sichuan province on June 28, shows a scooter driving in front of a truck, waiting for the traffic lights to change.
However, the truck suddenly started to move forward, knocking down the scooter and crushing it.
The woman can be seen lying in between the wheels of the truck as it passed over her.
According to reports, the scooter drove into the blind spot of the truck after illegally crossing the road.
The woman suffered injuries to her right foot and she is being treated in hospital. The case is being investigated.
