According to the veterinarian, she was surprised to find the pig sleeping, she thought it might be problematic when the other pigs all went to the feed trough. She was afraid that the piglet would get sick when calling it without seeing it react.
However, when she touched the piglet. it opened eyes and started functioning.
Perhaps this piglet likes to sleep rather than eat.
