King Kong and his family are pulling in tourists at a park in northern Thailand after being made into giant sculptures made of straw.

The iconic movie mutant stands 26ft tall alongside his wife at 19ft and his son at 13ft at the park in Chiang Mai.

Footage filmed on June 30 shows locals posing for pictures alongside the creations and even climbing inside the hay monsters.

Statues of several other animals including elephants, buffalo, deer and peacocks have also been built in the rice field alongside the Huai Tueng Thao Reservoir.
