Tourist Rescued After Leaping Into The Sea
A female Chinese tourist had to be rescued after leaping into the sea while travelling on a ferry. The woman is believed to have had an argument before diving overboard on the boat as it travelled to the island of Koh Lanta in eastern Thailand on February 26. Captain Jenarong Srisongsai said that passengers were shocked when the woman leapt overboard. He said: ''She walked to the edge very calmly and jumped in. Nobody knows why she did it, but we think it could have been a problem with her boyfriend, as they had quarrelled before. Fortunately we were able to help her very quickly and bring her to safety.''
