Watch as a massive great white shark propels itself out of the water to catch bait in this slow-mo footage.

Cameraman Ewan Wilson captured the amazing moment on June 15 in Mossel Bay, South Africa.

Wilson told Newsflare: ''The awesome predator jumped so high that it obscured the sunlight visible to the camera and ended its performance with a mighty splash.'

"Animals like these are special and we are losing them at an alarming rate.

''Let's protect these beasts so our grandkids may embark on the same adventures as we are living today.''
