A woman held a bicycle while chasing down a truck in order to pretend to be hit by it in an attempted scam in eastern China.

The bizarre video, filmed in Wuhu city in Anhui province on July 4, shows a woman holding a bicycle while sprinting after the truck.

She suddenly threw the bicycle underneath the truck and laid down in front of the vehicle as it was turning a corner, pretending to be hit by it.

According to reports, the woman named Tang attempted to scam the driver Cui after she lost out on a business bidding war to him.

The case is being investigated by authorities.
