I bought a small inflatable boat a few weeks ago to float down the nearby Muskingum River. Over the past few weeks, my father, nephews, son, and I have taken a few short trips on the boat. On this morning in particular, we were trying out a new motor. Unfortunately, there were no ideal locations to put the boat in that were somewhat close by so we had to settle for launching from a clearing in the woods. The muddy river banks are surprisingly slippery. On our second trip, my nephew slipped and fell in the mud and I slipped and fell into the river. Neither mishap was caught on film. On this, our third trip, my father was boasting how he was the only one of us as "sure footed as a mountain goat". Sadly for him, my son captured the fall perfectly. *My dad claims he was uninjured as a result of the fall.
