SBCoFD responded to reports of a traffic collision with injuries requiring extrication of one patient. Arriving crews located a black sports car with major front end damage that collided with a signal pole shearing it at the base. The collision also involved a white Honda sedan that suffered driver side damage before coming to rest before colliding with the side of a structure. One patient was evaluated by medical and released at the scene. It's unknown at this time if any others were injured or how severely. Fire requested extrication of one patient, possibly the driver of the black sports car. The cause of the collision is unknown at this time and it's unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor.
