Two children enjoy swimming in the flood after a heavy storm battered in Songkhla, southern Thailand yesterday (15/07).

Onlooker Khun Thanawat said that he saw two boys playing on the street while he was driving to the market following monsoon downpours.

He said: ''It was raining all day and flooding everywhere around the neighbourhood. The flood troubles everyone here, I even have to use my car just to go to the market.

''But these boys were happy fooling around the water. They also make me happy to see them appreciate everything around them.''

The country is currently going through its rainy season with regular tropical storms and torrential rain lasting from the end of May until late September.
