Bottled water flashfreezes on opening
A cool video has emerged of a bottle of water flash freezing as it is opened Los Angeles, US.
The footage, shot on Tuesday 13th Jan, shows a man opening a bottle of carbonated water which freezes instantly as the water is exposed to air. The trick is done by supercooling a liquid - cooling it until it drops below its freezing point but stays liquid due to the smooth inside of the bottle stopping ice crystals from forming.
