A donkey impaled a car and died after being crashed into on a road in northern China.

The bizarre video, shot in Aohan Banner in Inner Mongolia on July 13, shows a donkey's body getting trapped inside a car with only its two hind legs hanging out of the front windscreen.

According to reports, the car drove on the wrong side of the road at night and encountered another car with its headlights on full beam.

Since the car driver could not see clearly, it crashed into the donkey and killed it.

Since the donkey was used for mating, the car driver agreed to pay 23000 yuan (£2700) to the donkey owner as compensation.
