'Racist' Alexa plays rap when asked for some 'n***** music'
A UK man was left in shock when his Alexa home device played rap when he asked for some ''n****a music."
Footage captured at a home in Liverpool on July 17 shows Marcel Vormawah asking Amazon's AI-powered voice assistant, ''Are you racist?''
The virtual assistant then replies: ''No, I am not racist. I think everyone deserves to be treated with fairness.''
Vormawah then asks Alexa to play some ''n***a music."
To his surprise, the device starts to play "Hard Work Pays Off" by rap musicians Juice Wrld, Future.
''Having a laugh with Amazon's Alexa turned out to be a little shocking when asked to play 'n****a music' - only to have hip-hop or music of black origin played,'' Vormawah said.
