Hilarious moment supportive grandmother gets carried away watching kids' football match in Thailand
This is the hilarious moment a grandmother gets carried away while cheering on her grandson in a football match.
Pensioner Samhun Buthkrua, 57, was watching the ten-year-old lad at a school sports day in Sisaket, northeastern Thailand on July 9.
Footage shows how the supportive grandmother was standing on the touchline passionately running in the same direction as the game.
Despite her age, the woman was energetically clapping and kicking an invisible ball in the air each time there was action on the field.
Samhun was continued cheering on her relative throughout the game - with temperatures touching on 35C - even though his team ended up losing 4 - 2.
Onlooker Palita Chokedee, the headteacher at the school, said: ‘’Samhun was the best spectator I’ve ever seen. She kept showing lots of encouragement and love for her grandchild and she had a lot of energy.
‘’At first, I was a bit concerned that she could hurt herself so I kept an eye on her. But she didn’t seem to be tired at all and I was very impressed to see how fit and healthy she was.
‘’Now, everyone here just loves her and totally admires her enthusiasm.’’
