Several Leeds United fans had to be removed from the stadium after an altercation with stewards during a pre-season friendly in Perth, Australia.

In the clip filmed on July 17, a few Leeds supporters can be seen being dragged out of the crowd after tempers flared during their match with rivals Manchester United.

The filmer told Newsflare: "I’m not sure how the altercation started as I was watching the game, I just saw stewards and armed police rushing down to them and the forcefully ejecting fans.

"This was a one-off altercation in our section, however, there was violence in another section and a pitch invader from further around. This is why they should not allow mixed fans at football.

"The stewards came in as if they targeted the Leeds fans even though there must always be two sides to every story so not sure why Manchester fans weren’t treated the same way."
