Indian forest officials rescue 15 baby king cobras from electrical shop
Footage has emerged of baby king cobras being rescued from inside a shop in northern India.
The incident took place on July 19 in the Banjarawala region of Uttarakhand state's Dehradun district.
The video shows rescuers catching the baby snakes using metal hooks.
Reports said the reptiles were first noticed by Sumit Kumar, an electrical shop owner, who noticed three baby king cobras roaming inside the facility.
Upon realising that there could be more snakes, Kumar alerted the forest officials, who rushed to the spot to catch the reptiles.
Forest officials caught 15 snakes and later released them in their natural habitat.
Visuals also showed a forest official telling the man that he was lucky to avert an accident as the small snakes possess a deadly venom.
