Group of flâneurs gather in London attempting to discourage people from using their smartphones
A group of flaneurs (strollers) in Edwardian and Victorian dress gathered at midday in Jermyn Street. After a short reading from poet Baudelaire, the group randomly headed one direction in search of adventure and whether they would walk for ten minutes or three days no one was quite sure.
The aim of the walk was to encourage participants to explore their surroundings and to leave smartphones in their bags or pockets.
The filmer departed their company after the groups' two visits to fine London hostelries. Where they finished up in their silken finery up is not clear, though the streets of Paris were rumoured be a possibility.
