Man creates 'Ice-mist' waterfall from top of building

A cool video has emerged of a man in Montreal, Canada taking advantage of wintry conditions to produce an 'ice-mist waterfall' with boiling water.

Montreal local David Freiheit can be seen pouring the pot of water from the top of a building during freezing conditions, creating a dazzling waterfall effect.

The remarkable effect is produced by the boiling water rapidly evaporating into vapour that immediately condenses into a cloud.

Writing online about the video, Mr Freiheit said: "I boiled a huge pot of water and poured it off the roof of a house on a blistering-cold winter day. It created an amazing ice-mist waterfall as it fell, and the stiff east-west wind created a surreal and almost artificial-looking line division between the steam and air".
