Firefighters rescued a worker trapped inside a concrete pipe after dropping into a deep well in southeastern China.

The video, filmed in Chongren County in Jiangxi province on July 16, shows firefighters removing the concrete pipe first, then lowering down a ladder into the eight-metre-deep well.

After the ladder was lowered down the trapped man named Yuan held it by his hands and was pulled up by the firemen.

Yuan then was sent to hospital immediately. Fortunately, he was not injured.

7月16日下午2点多，崇仁消防救援大队接到报警称，河上镇塘仁村内一人掉入深井中，情况危急。

崇仁县消防救援大队迅速出动，到达现场后经勘查发现，该深井井口直径约100厘米，深约8米，井下情况复杂。最棘手的是，井底有一段直立的水泥管，长1.5米左右，口径70厘米左右，工人恰巧坠入该水泥管内，被困“井中井”，救援难度极大。被困人员坠井已有20多分钟，下半身动弹不了，但意识清醒。

“你别急，我们马上想办法来救你。”为安慰被困者的情绪，消防队员一边向井底喊话，一边给被困人员送水，让他保持体力，同时组织队员开始救援，先是利用挂钩将上方水泥管固定，利用吊机将水泥管取出。

随后消防队员将扶梯放入井中，让被困人员抓紧扶梯，随着井底传出的上升信号，在消防员的齐心协力下，被困人员被成功救出，随即现场120救护车立即将被困者送往医院进行救治，好在救援及时，元某身体并无大碍。

据了解，被困男子姓元，崇仁本地人，事发前和工友，在村里打水井，不料发生意外。
