A dramatic visual has emerged of a building collapsing due to floods in northern India.

The incident took place on July 18 near Haati bazaar area of Bihar state's Darbhanga district.

Visuals showed people shouting at commuters to stay away from the building, anticipating the structure to collapse.

A while later, the wall develops a large crack and it starts to crumble.

A few people were heard commenting on the collapse.

Reports said the building acted as a house and a cement warehouse for a family.

While no one was hurt, the owner incurred a heavy loss as most of the cement got washed away in the floods.

While some people commented on the lack of planning shown by the inhabitors of the building- criticising their inability to pull out the cement bags before the collapse- others said the family did the right thing to move out of the facility, mitigating a possible fatal incident.
