The Riau Regional Police managed to thwart efforts to smuggle thousands of lobster seeds worth more than Rp. 11.5 billion in the waters of Sungai Raja, Dumai City, Riau Province. From the disclosure this time, there are 2 types of lobster seeds confiscated, namely the type of pearl that is famous for its price which is quite expensive and the type of sand. The number reached 77,000 lobster babies with a state loss of Rp. 11.5 billion

While another actor with the initials ME, who was identified as the owner of tens of billions of rupiah, the lobster baby fled by throwing himself into the sea as soon as the officer arrived.

Badarudin said that the high-value lobster baby was thought to have originated from the Banten region, West Java. The seeds are then taken by land through a number of provinces such as Lampung, South Sumatra, Jambi to Riau. Upon arrival in Riau, the perpetrators then brought lobsters to Dumai City to be smuggled into Malaysia.
