Two men narrowly escaped serious injury after a car smashed into a shop in southern China.

The dramatic CCTV video, shot in Maoming city in Guangdong province on July 17, shows two men sitting in front of a shop. However, a car suddenly sped towards them and crashed into the wall.

The two men can be seen turning their heads around to check when they heard some sharp noises before standing up and moving out of the way.

Fortunately, the car driver only had minor injuries.

The driver said he was tired and could not focus on driving. He apologised sincerely to the two men and would pay for the damage.
