Police officers broke a toilet to rescue a pangolin trapped inside in southern China.

In the clip, captured in Jixi county in Jiangxi province on July 19, police officers tore down the whole toilet and brought it out of the house. They then used a hammer to break the back of the toilet to free the trapped pangolin.

According to local reports, the railway workers heard some noises from their toilet and found a pangolin got stuck at the back of the toilet, so they called the police for help.

Finally, police freed the pangolin and returned it back to the wild.

上周五，绩溪县公安局金沙派出所接到报警，称一铁路工人宿舍马桶后面狭窄的凹槽里，一只穿山甲被困住无法出来。金沙派出所和当地森林派出所民警赶到现场后，拆掉马桶，将穿山甲救出并放归山林。

据悉，铁路工人宿舍位于路边，住在宿舍里的工人听到卫生间里有动静，寻找后发现马桶后面的狭窄凹槽里，藏着一只全身鳞甲的动物，仔细一看竟是一只穿山甲。由于马桶背后的凹槽紧靠着墙，空间狭窄，不知这只穿山甲是怎么钻进去的，但似乎被困住了，无法出来。

为了救出穿山甲，大家小心翼翼地将马桶拆掉，抬出屋外。此时，穿山甲还在凹槽里没有出来。民警想将其拉出来时，它蜷缩得更紧了。民警又不得不将已经拆下来的马桶凹槽边轻轻敲碎，让穿山甲露出整个身体。民警将其抱了出来，放进一个纸盒中。经检查，这只穿山甲身体没有受伤，于是民警将它带到当地村民曾发现有穿山甲的山上，放归山林。
