The unconventional commuter nicknamed "Spider-Man" was seen hanging from the back of the bus as it drove along the highway in Manila, the Philippines on July 17.

Onlooker Regie Lacuesta was in the next lane with his friend driving when the incident happened so he was able to capture it on video.

He said: "The man could be a street dweller who doesn't have money for fare."

Regie said that the man was hanging for a good few minutes before dropping off at an intersection during the red light.

He added: "The bus driver should have been informed, because if the man was hurt, he could be held responsible."

Local authorities have been informed according to Regie.
