Motorists stranded as army of ducks swoops over busy road in southern India
A fascinating video has emerged of a brace of ducks crossing the road in southern India's Kerala state, bringing vehicles to a standstill.
This video was shot by a hotelier on Kalpetta-Manathavadi Road in Panamaram, Wayanad, Kerala.
Visuals showed hundreds of marching by as motorists waited for the winged creatures to pass by.
The state, which is infamous for over the top political rallies, disrupting daily life, also bore witness to a congregation of a different kind.
The ducks, understandably pets, were monitored by at least three people, including an elderly woman, who made sure the birds followed decorum and did not trigger chaos.
