A black bear in central India was chased out of a village into the forest after sneaking into a store to eat up various kitchen supplies on July 26.

The bear entered the village of Girda in Buldana district, Maharashtra, coming from the nearby forest at around 7:00am, and tore open the shutters of a nearby store owned by Mr. Chagan Chandalkar, before drinking 5 litres of edible oil.

Villagers found the large omnivore and immediately contacted the Forest Department, but were unable to reach them, prompting them to form a crowd outside to shout and scare the bear back into the forest.

There were no reported injuries, and the bear was able to return safely to the wild.

A big bear has to ran towards forest area in village Girda in Buldhana district of Maharashtra on 26th July around 7 am in morning. According to Sandeep Gaikwad who lives there only told that this bear entered a purtune store of chagan chandalkar, bear tore the shutter of store and entered in shop he drunk 5 litre of edible oil ,when villagers noticed some moment in shop they saw and find bear, villagers immediately called forest department but they didn't reach ..villagers started shouting and making noise, listening to it bear got panicked and ran and hid in Bush, villagers chased bear there and bound it to ran the bear back in forest area. No one got injured in this incident
