A brave Indonesian snake handler's exploits have won him admirers online.

The man, from Mentulik village in Kampar district, Riau Province, was filmed with two enormous cobras in 2017.

Ice Habibi caught the snakes when local villagers asked him, after the reptiles were spotted in the fields.

A rubber farmer had been killed by a cobra in the area, but the two huge snakes looked tame in the man's hands.

He attributed his calmness to having been around snakes since a young age.
