This is the horrifying moment a teenager was pushed from a 30ft waterfall by a sudden gush of water - miraculously escaping with just a broken wrist.

The harrowing footage shows 17-year-old Harry Weatherhead's legs kicking frantically as he topples from the top, spiralling head over heels onto dangerous rocks below.

The keen rugby player was visiting the Crammel Lin waterfall and beauty spot in Gisland, Northumbs., with friends to cool off in the heatwave.

Unbeknown to the music production student, the remote waterfall is known for the river water there cascading in sudden pulses of power.
