Stunning Time Lapse Sequence of Big Thunderstorm Updraughts Over Lough Neagh
This is a result of 4000 DSLR images taken on August 6th 2019 to make a time lapse movie of a dramatic late evening thunderstorm. The birth can be seen with cumulus bubbling up then they mature into exploding updraughts in the setting sun. Captured from Lough Neagh in N. Ireland, the storm itself was 20 miles away and impacting the city of Belfast! rendered at 1080p at 24 frames/sec.
