The heartwarming moment was captured when a loyal dog in the Philippines waits outside a shopping mall all day for his owner to return.

The clever dog stood by the mall entrance checking each person that went inside the building in Mandaluyong City, the Philippines, on July 19.

"I first saw him when I arrived for work in the morning, then he was still on the same spot when I checked out of work,'' said the filmer.

The pooch is understood to belong to one of the workers inside the building who collected him later that evening when they had finished for the day.
