Twitchers have been coming from far and wide to a small village in Leeds this week. A rare bird known as a Little Bustard made it's appearance on Monday in a farmers field in the village of Mickletown in West Yorkshire, which has attracted crowds of ornithologists. A donation bucket has been set up and has since raised over £1400 with all proceeds going to the Prince Of Wales Hospice. The Little Bustard is a large game type bird that are native to Southern Europe & Asia which makes this appearance very rare in the UK.
