The visitors spilled from the train and charged through the station gates at the Tokyo Big Sight convention and exhibition center in Japan, last Friday (August 9).

There was even a visitor there dressed in a red matador costume waving a towel like to imitate a bullfighter as the crowd sprinted towards him.

This year's Summer Comiket, also known as C96, is a biannual indie manga, anime, game, and cosplay convention and the largest event in Japan.

Among the highlights of the event is the chance to meet and greet well-known cosplayers.
