Terrfiying Moment as Elephant are charging Humans in Southern East India

Herd of Elephants from WEST BENGAL and JHARKHAND are in a houl at 17 villages of Karanjia forest and Rasgobindpur forest range in Mayurbhanj district, Odisha.People are scared from last 5 months. Jumbos are in a charging and destructive mood so far. Acres of cultivation, farming and numbers of houses destroyed by them in last 5 months. Nights are became nightmare for poor localites as the group is moving place to place after sunset.

Villagers are sleeping under polythene house having no food, no electricity. They live in very horrible conditions. Villagers are already lost so many things including their crops, houses and life's. If government and department not taking any serious steps to returned elephants, tribal villages are ready to kill those elephants by arrows said to Newsflare SHIVAJI MOULICK, LOCAL WILDLIFE ACTIVIST. The department has deployed 2 to 4 men and some unofficial persons to shoo away the elephants, which is not possible, he added..

But surprisingly forest department is in a mute position. As pre villagers It happened only due to the negligence of few numbers of Forest officials. These some of the Forest officials are showing sympatgetical behaviour for their personal economical gain. Till date government administration neither district administration and forest department not came to assess the destruction of those villages.

Elephants came from Jharkhand.Elephants come every year.Elephants remain here for months in Karanjia District.
