Ethnic tribesmen in Indonesia sing and dance in festival celebrating culture
The Baliem Valley in Papua, Indonesia is famous for the uniqueness of the tribes that inhabit it. These tribes, such as the Dani, the Yani and the Yali, have a habit of fighting. When going to war they will sing and dance. Their dance and singing are unique.
Now the war between tribes is no longer happening, but every year they gather to join a festival that shows their traditions. The name of the festival is the Baliem Valley Festival. This year the festival was held from 7 to 10 August.
