This is the moment a group of children ran into a massive dust devil which was swirling around an Indonesian village.

The video was filmed on August 18 in Gandurejo, central Java.

Filmer Vebry Ardiansyah said he warned the elementary school pupils not to approach the vortex but they ignored him.

Fortunately, no-one was injured in the incident.

People in Gandurejo of Central Java in Indonesia was surprised when a huge whirlwind came and twist on the local football field. Normally, people will run away from the wind with that size as it will fly dust, rocks, and rubbish.

But that didn’t occur to a group of elementary school kids in Gandurejo. Instead of running away, they even went closer to the wind. Several kids even went to the center of the whirlwind.

The video maker, Vebry Ardiansyah had warned the kids not to go to the winding path as the situation seems dangerous but they didn't listen to him. No injury reported due to the act what Vebry said as a crazy action.
