A reversing truck ran over a woman who fell out of an electric three-wheeler on a road in eastern China.

The CCTV video, filmed in Zhangjiagang city in Jiangsu province on August 6, shows an electric three-wheeler suddenly changing its direction to avoid a passing car.

Then the three-wheeler turned around throwing the woman onto the ground as the truck reversed towards it.

The woman was run over by the truck and got trapped underneath it while the woman's husband abandoned his three-wheeler to tell the driver to stop.

Fortunately, the woman only suffered minor injuries. The truck driver was blamed for the incident.

8月6日12时许，交警保税区中队接到报警称，在灿香路友邦路口发生一起货车与电动三轮车相撞的事故，有人受伤。

民警随即调取了监控，事发时萧某驾驶电动三轮车带着妻子方某，正沿友邦路由西向东行驶，行驶至货车后方时恰好一辆小车从货车旁边驶过，只见电动三轮车一个360度大甩尾，惊险避让过小车，但坐在驾驶座旁边的妻子方某被甩下了车跌落在地上，更巧合的这时货车开始倒车，货车车尾部直接撞上了电动三轮车一侧，妻子方某瞬间被卷入了车底，车上的货物散落一地，见状，萧某立即上前大喊货车驾驶人停车。

经医院诊断，妻子方某只受轻伤，幸无大碍。该起事故中，因货车倒车时未查明车后情况、确认安全后倒车，并在路口实施倒车的行为是造成该起事故的主要原因，所以半挂车负全部责任。
