Hong Kong riot police violently shove UK journalist filming latest protests
A British journalist documenting Hong Kong riot police actions is violently shoved as a train of them storm past in a video captured on Saturday (August 17).
Hong Kong-based photojournalist Alex Hofford captured the moment a member of the riot police singles him out and gives him a violent shove.
Hofford was born and raised in Cambridge but has lived in Hong Kong since 1998. He is also the regional representative for the European Pressphoto Agency.
A number of other clips edited together show protesters and police facing off during the ongoing demonstrations in Hong Kong.
