Time-lapse footage of the sun falling from a bloodshot sky over the African savanna
It was just before sunset on our safari in the Kruger National Park when we stopped for a break while enjoying some refreshments. We had a beautiful vista in front of us with a sky becoming more and more bloodshot by the minute. I took this opportunity to let my camera roll and film this whole spectacle as a time lapse video. Accompanied by the hypnotizing call of the fiery necked nightjar and night time insects, this truly beautiful sunset over the African savanna of South Africa had everyone in awe. There was a common feel of sheer peace, quiet and calmness while the sun dropped out of the bloodshot African sky. The African wild, what a beautiful and special place indeed.
