Rescue officials capture 14-feet-long python after it strayed into residential area in northeast India

This visual captures the moment rescue officials, with the help of villagers, rescue a 14-feet-long python from a residential area in northeast India.

The incident took place on Aug. 20 in Nagaon district of Assam state.

Video shows at least seven people holding the giant reptile after rescuing it from the residential area.

The residents were scared after noticing the huge snake and immediately informed the forest department about it.

Forest officials soon rushed to the spot and captured the snake and released it into the wild.

Earlier, a 14-foot-long King Cobra was captured from the Jiajuri Tea Estate in the Nagaon district on July 7.
