The Jomsom Highway runs only 74 kilometers or 46 miles, but because of poor road conditions, vehicle breakdowns and landslides, those 74 kilometers can easily take over 10 hours to drive.

The Jomsom Highway runs along the Kali Gandaki River Corridor, part of the deepest gorge in the world.

Elevation rises 1400 meters along the road, ending at a whopping 2700 meters above sea level.
