Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich just sold out but this Louisiana man is 'demanding' you go get it
The hilarious moment is captured when a young man leaps onto a table at a mall in Louisiana and "demands" everyone get to Popeye's for their spicy chicken sandwich last week (August 24).
"Everybody needs to get to Popeye's for this shit!" exclaimed Keondre, who can be found @young_.ken on Instagram.
Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen said Tuesday that it has sold out of its inventory of its new chicken sandwich.
Popeye's stores across the country have been selling out of the sandwich after a Twitter feud between Chick-fil-A and Popeyes inspired consumers to taste the new sandwich for themselves.
The fried chicken chain officially launched the sandwich Aug. 12, calling its first nationwide chicken sandwich their biggest launch in nearly 30 years.
"Every Popeye's we went to were sold out!" said Rodney, the filmer who can be found @daaa.youngin on Instagram, who says he and his friends regularly eat the fried chicken chain.
The comedic buddies, who along with their friend @yeah.bee on Instagram can be seen doing hilarious things all over their Lafayette, Louisiana hometown.
