An event held in Angmering, south England saw cars crash as they attempt to fly over wrecked vehicles.

Filmed on Monday (August 26), numerous cars are seen accelerating up a ramp trying to make it over several wrecked vehicles.

The filmer told Newsflare: "It takes a lot of guts for this high octane car thrill, but this did not deter a bunch of banger racers from riding high to attain the approval of the crowd.

"The jumpers even included a van and a double-decker car which took to the ramp for lift-off!

"Each attempt was judged on the reception from the crowd, elevation attained and most importantly the distance of the jump.

"With brilliant blue skies and sweltering temperatures, the car jumping was a real crowd-pleaser.

"Bradley Lock won the event with his jump in the Black Ford Fiesta; he definitely earnt his bragging rights."
