Local residents gathered outside Sha Tin station to show their support for the protests in Hong Kong by chanting "liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our time".

The video shows hundreds of nearby residents on Thursday night watching a film while shouting Hong Kong protest chants and cheering.

According to the filmer, the film was "Winter On Fire", a documentary about the 2014 Ukrainian revolution which may inspire Hong Kong nationals during the recent anti-extradition bill protests.

Hong Kong has been under the largest protest in history against China extradition bill for more than 3 months and no endpoint to be seen. Communities of Hong Kong put the documentaty Winter On Fire on public screening. Thousands of people attended and shout for slogans.

The Ukrainian documentary in 2015 Winter On Fire : Ukraine's Fight For Freedom, which is about the Ukrainian Revolution 2014. It has become one of the models for Hong konger and a demo of uprising. It's famous among the protesters.
