Stomach-churning moment king cobra snacks on a smaller snake, swallows it in entirety
This frightening visual captures the moment a king cobra attacks and devours a fellow snake near a forest range in northern India.
The incident reportedly took place on Aug. 28 at Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand snake.
Video shows the giant reptile sneaking in and grabbing a python by its mouth.
The python is seen opening its mouth, probably to escape from the hold of the cobra, but in vain.
It is then seen lying on the ground, after killing the snake.
Apart from Royal Bengal tigers, Jim Corbett National Park is also home to king cobras, Burmese pythons, elephants, Royal Bengal tigers and deer.
