This is the astonishing moment dozens of shoppers stormed into a store to buy a limited edition t-shirt.

Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo released the top around the world last Friday (August 30) morning as part of a collaboration with graffiti artist Brian Donnelly.

Footage taken at a mall in Selangor state, Malaysia, shows the moment the crowd surged forward knocking the shutters and running into the store for the t-shirt.

Shoppers even clambered across the shelves to grab as many garments as they could. The shirt was then sold out in under a minute.

Onlooker Sam Ooi, 25, said he was shocked by the chaotic event. He said: "I really didn't know that there would be so many people coming to the store that morning.''

The crowd dispersed after a few minutes when they realised that all of the t-shirts had been sold.
