This video is about the drought that is affecting almost all parts of Indonesia. Specifically in the area where I live, it is compounded by the el nino (weak) global weather.

The woman who first appeared in the video named Titin Nurhani (49), she was one of the farmers who failed to harvest, because the rice fields were damaged by drought. Then, at the end of the video, a woman named Layla (30), had to dig a dry river to bathe, wash clothes, even for drinking water. All because of the effects of drought.

All of these videos were taken in the area of ​​Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province, Indonesia. The first is the farmer woman, in Pilohayanga Village, Telaga District. This drought is the result of a prolonged dry season that has hit since July. In Gorontalo, in addition to the dry season, this drought also occurs due to the El Nino (weak) global weather.

According to the Indonesian Meteorogical Climatological Geophysical Agency, this drought is at its peak this September.
