A legal challenge over UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson's decision to suspend Parliament has been rejected in the High Court.

An appeal is expected to be heard at the Supreme Court on September 17.

Pro-Brexit protestors demanded "Brexit now!" as the Remain side said "no to racism, no to Boris Johnson."

Anti-Brexit demonstrators briefly blocked Westminster Bridge and chanted "stop the coup" as they marched. Among the crowd was Spokeswoman for Cheltenham for Europe, Nikki Robson, who said "the vast majority of people in the UK were absolutely appalled by (Boris) Johnson's idea of closing down Parliament." On Monday night, MPs voted to take control the House of Commons agenda for Wednesday and will hold votes to try to force Prime Minister Boris Johson into requesting a Brexit extension from the EU.
