Live leech pulled from the nose of six-year-old boy in Vietnam
A doctor removed a live leech that crawled up the nose of a six-year-old boy at a clinic in Nghe An Province, Vietnam.
The doctor reported that the boy's father took the boy to the clinic reporting pain in his nose and managed to remove the bug before it got crawled deeper into the boy's nose on September 3.
The boy's father was surprised when the leech was taken out of his son's nose, with the doctor saying that leeches can enter the body during stream bathing, eating raw vegetables or drinking unboiled water.
