CCTV footage captured the moment a massive blast in north India when a firecracker factory exploded yesterday (September 4), leaving 23 people dead.

Taken from security cameras at a nearby office in the Batala area of Gurdaspur around 3:30pm, one perspective shows a woman fleeing as the explosion blew in the windows and eventually dislodged the camera.

Further footage shows dust kicked up by the blast reaching a nearby street, sending people running for cover.
