Bike-borne assailants thrash man with sticks in broad daylight after intercepting his car in northern India

A shocking video has emerged of a group of bike-borne assailants thrashing a man with sticks after intercepting his car in northern India.

The incident, which was captured on a CCTV camera, took place on Sept. 4 in Faridabad city of Haryana state.

Visual showed an SUV moving from the right of the screen when a group of bike-borne men intercepts the car.

The men wielded hockey sticks and had their faces covered. While some of them smashed the windshield of the car, an assailant opened the front passenger door and shoved the driver, understandably the victim with a stick.

Several others gained access to the driver's door and upon opening it, thrashed the victim with sticks.

Reports identified the victim as Iqbal Singh Sandhu, a college principal.

Sandhu was on his way back home when the brazen attack took place.

Visual also showed the men leaving their motorcycles and fleeing the spot after police arrived.

Police are yet to press charges as the principal has not registered a complaint.
