Children Collect Plastic Bottles From Canal
A boy from the Philippines scoops out plastic wastes in the river during typhoon Bailu to sell in junk shops.
The boy was using a long stick with net at its tip to fish out plastic bottles floating at a river in Las Pinas City on August 25.
Onlooker Sheles Villafuerte said: "It was not the first time I saw kid doing that here. They come here during typhoons, as soon as the rain stops.''
Sheles said that the kids might be living nearby.
